Ingredients

1 lb sauerkraut
1 onion , chopped
1 clove garlic , crushed
4 slices pineapple , chopped
1 teaspoon curry powder
1 1 teaspoon some chili paste or 1 chopped fresh chili pepper
1 red bell peppers or 1 yellow bell pepper , chopped
4 -8 slices of your favorite ham , not too thin
4 ounces grated emmenthaler cheese or 4 ounces gruyere cheese
1 tablespoon breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons butter , for frying , greasing and topping the cheese

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 375°F.
2.Rinse and drain the sauerkraut.

9.Top with the chopped bell pepper.

11.Top with breadcrumbs and dot with butter.
12.Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes until golden and bubbly.
