Ingredients

2 tablespoons dried ancho chile powder
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 green onions , sliced thin
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 1/2 teaspoons salt
2 1/2 teaspoons black pepper

Instructions

1.In a blender, combine all the ingredients, except for the green onions and brown sugar. Pulse until smooth.

3.Pour the marinade into a resealable plastic bag or a container with a lid.
4.Add your preferred meat, making sure each piece is well coated with the marinade.
5.Allow the meat to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or up to 48 hours for a more intense flavor.
