Ingredients

Lemon Butter Sauce :
1/4 cup white wine
5 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
5 tablespoons heavy cream
1 cup butter , chilled
salt and pepper to taste
Chicken and Pasta :
1/2 pound dry farfalle ( bow tie ) pasta
4 skinless , boneless chicken breast halves - pounded to 1/4 inch thickness
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
salt and pepper to taste
4 ounces bacon
6 ounces mushrooms , sliced
6 ounces artichoke hearts , drained and halved
2 teaspoons capers , drained
chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

1.Cook the pasta as directed on the package until it is al dente. Drain and set aside.
2.While the pasta is cooking, whisk together the white wine, lemon juice, and heavy cream in a small bowl. Set aside.
3.Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper and coat in flour.

7.Reduce the heat to low and add the lemon butter sauce to skillet. Stir until the sauce is heated and add the chicken back to the skillet to heat through.
8.Serve the chicken and sauce over the cooked pasta.
9.Garnish with crumbled bacon and fresh parsley.
