Ingredients

1 cup almonds ( you may blanch to remove skins if you like , I have made it both ways , smoother with the blanch , heal )
3 cups water ( spring water )
1 tablespoon date molasses ( or to taste , called dibis in Arabic , silan in Hebrew sometimes called date syrup or date honey )

Instructions

1.Soak the almonds in water overnight or for at least 6 hours.
2.Drain and rinse the soaked almonds.
3.Blend the almonds with 3 cups of fresh water until smooth.
4.Strain the mixture through a nut milk bag or cheesecloth into a bowl.
5.Add the date molasses and mix well.
6.Store the almond milk in a tightly sealed jar or bottle in the fridge for up to 5 days.
