Ingredients

500 g veal mince
500 g pork mince
1 1/2 kg roma tomatoes , vine ripened and essential for flavour
80 ml tomato paste
3 large onions
50 ml olive oil
30 g fresh oregano
60 g fresh basil
15 g fresh thyme
Bolognese is a classic Italian sauce that is slow-cooked for maximum flavor. All Day Ragu (Bolognese) is a variation that cooks for several hours with veal and pork mince. Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 180C.
2.Pour oil into a large pot over medium heat, and add onions. Cook the onions, stirring often, until they are soft and translucent.
3.Then add both meats and stir them until they’re brown.
4.Add thyme, oregano, basil leaves followed by crushed tomatoes, tomato paste and hand crushed tomato with its juice.
5.Simmer the mixture for 5-10 minutes,
6.Add a bit of water and bring to a boil.
7.Cover the pot and put it in the oven. Bake it for about 3 hours and occasionally stirring.
8.Once done, bring it out and stir the sauce to mix well.
9.Serve over your favorite pasta with freshly grated cheese and some basil leaves on top.
