Looking for a fun way to celebrate Independence Day this year? Look no further than this All-American Flag Cake! This easy-to-make dessert is perfect for summer BBQs, picnics, and get-togethers. The cake is made from a simple yellow cake mix, which is then topped with a deliciously creamy and light vanilla pudding mixture. The top of the cake is decorated to look like an American flag, complete with red and white stripes made from whipped topping and fresh strawberries, and a blueberry square in the top left corner. Miniature marshmallows are used to fill in the space around the blueberry square. The end result is a delightful and festive dessert that is sure to be a hit with guests of all ages.

Instructions

.Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
.In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until smooth.
.Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until fully cooked.
.Let the cake cool for 10 minutes in the pan and then remove it from the pan and place it on a wire rack to cool completely.
.Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, whisk together the boiling water and instant vanilla pudding mix until smooth. Gradually pour in the milk, whisking constantly.
.Fold in the 1 cup of whipped topping until well combined.
.Cut the cake into 12 squares and place them on a large platter to form a rectangle that is three squares wide and four squares long.
.Frost the top of the cake squares with the pudding mixture, smoothing it into an even layer.
.Place the blueberries in a square in the top left corner of the cake, leaving about 1 inch of space between the edge of the cake and the berries.
.Add the remaining whipped topping to a plastic bag and snip off one corner. Pipe lines of whipped topping across the cake to create the red and white stripes of the American flag.
.Fill in the white stripes with the sliced strawberries, being careful not to overlap them too much so that they maintain their stripe pattern.
.Fill in the remaining space of the blueberry square with miniature marshmallows.
.Serve chilled and enjoy!
