Instructions

3.Stir in three to four cups of flour until dough forms.
4.Knead the dough on a floured surface for 10-12 minutes until it becomes elastic.
5.Place the dough in an oiled bowl and cover with a damp towel.
6.Leave the dough to rest until it doubles in size, which should take about an hour.
7.Once the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into 16 even pieces.
8.Roll each piece into a ball and place them on a greased baking sheet.
9.To make the crosses, mix together 1/2 cup flour and 2 tablespoons oil. Add water to make the mixture pliable, and put it into a piping or resealable bag with a corner cut off.
10.Pipe the crosses on top of the buns and then let them rest for another 10-15 minutes.
11.Pre-heat the oven at 200 Celsius or 390 Fahrenheit and then bake the buns for 12-15 minutes, or until a golden color is achieved.
