16 ounces green beans , drained

8 ounces crescent rolls
2 cups monterey jack cheese , grated , divided
1 egg , beaten

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease a large pie dish.
2.In a large skillet, brown ground beef, chopped onion, and green pepper over medium heat until cooked through and vegetables are tender. Drain any excess grease from skillet.
3.Add tomato sauce, green beans, and garlic salt to the beef mixture, stirring well to combine.
4.Press crescent rolls into the greased pie dish, covering the bottom and sides. Brush the inside of the crescent roll crust with beaten egg.
5.Sprinkle 1 cup of the grated Monterey Jack cheese onto the bottom of the crust. Pour the beef mixture over the cheese, spreading it out evenly.
6.Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of grated Monterey Jack cheese over the top of the beef mixture. Sprinkle with paprika and chopped parsley, if desired.
7.Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden brown. Let cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
