3 tablespoons butter
3 cups milk ( approximately )
1 cup tomatoes , finely chopped ( bush tomatoes )
1 pinch salt
Akudjura (Bush Tomato) Scones are a unique twist on the classic breakfast pastry. Bush tomatoes are native to central Australia and have a tangy, slightly sweet flavor that pairs perfectly with the buttery richness of scones. Instructions

1.Preheat your oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
2.In a large bowl, sift in the flour and baking powder. Rub in the butter until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs.
3.Gradually add the milk, stirring the mixture with a wooden spoon until a soft dough forms.
4.Gently fold in the chopped bush tomatoes and a pinch of salt to taste.
5.Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead it gently for a few seconds. Pat it into a circle about 3cm thick.
6.Use a sharp knife to cut the circle into 6-8 equal wedges. Place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
7.Bake the scones in your preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until they are golden brown on top and cooked through.
