Ingredients

1 1/4 cups dried black-eyed peas
1 onion , chopped
1 red chili , halved with seeds removed ( optional )
2/3 cup water
oil , for frying

Instructions

1.Rinse the black-eyed peas thoroughly and place them in a large bowl.

8.Fry until golden brown on both sides.
9.Place the fritters on a paper towel to absorb the excess oil.
