3/4 cup plain yogurt

1 pound ground beef
1 1/2 cups chopped onion
1 cup water
1 carrot , grated
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 1/2 teaspoons ground coriander
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
26 wonton wrappers
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
2 tablespoons water
1/2 cup dried yellow split peas
1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
1 cube chicken bouillon
1 1/2 cups water

Instructions

1.In a large bowl, combine plain yogurt, fresh mint leaves, and crushed garlic to make the sauce. Set it aside.
2.In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and onion over medium heat.
3.Add water, grated carrot, salt, black pepper, ground coriander, and ground cumin. Allow it to simmer for 15 minutes.
4.On a floured surface, lay out wonton wrappers and add a tablespoon of the beef mixture to each one. Fold the wrapper over the beef mixture and pinch the edges to form a ravioli.
5.Bring a large pot of water to boil. Add the raviolis and cook them for 5-7 minutes, or until they float to the surface.
6.In a small bowl, mix tomato paste, red pepper flakes, and water. Add it to the beef mixture in the skillet.
7.Cook the beef mixture on low heat for another 5-7 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.
8.In a separate pot, soak dried yellow split peas in water (enough to cover them) for 2 hours. Drain them and add chicken bouillon, more water, red pepper flakes, ground coriander, and ground cumin. Simmer for 30 minutes or until tender. Serve the raviolis with the beef mixture and split peas sauce.
