3 tablespoons butter or 3 tablespoons margarine , divided , melted and cooled

Instructions

1.In a large bowl, whisk together flour, salt, baking powder, sugar, and cardamom/cinnamon
2.Add in beaten egg, milk, and 2 tablespoons of melted butter, then whisk until the batter is smooth
3.Heat an aebleskiver pan over medium-low heat, and brush the indentations with melted butter
4.Pour batter into each indentation, filling them 2/3 full
5.Once the edges start to set, use a skewer or fork to gently turn the pancake ball until all sides are golden brown
6.Remove from pan, dust with powdered sugar, and serve immediately with fruit jam or preserves.
