Ingredients

For the dough :
2 cups whole wheat flour
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2/3 cup water
For the filling :
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
1 green chile pepper , chopped
1 piece ginger , grated
2 onions , peeled and finely chopped
10 fresh curry leaves
1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
sea salt to taste
6 ounces uncooked prawns , peeled and deveined
2 eggs , beaten

Instructions

1.Mix the flour and oil in a large mixing bowl. Add the water and knead until dough is soft and pliable. Form into a ball and set aside.
2.Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the mustard seeds, green chile pepper, ginger, onion, and curry leaves. Cook until onions are soft and fragrant.
3.Add in the turmeric and salt. Mix until all ingredients are combined.
4.Add the prawns to the skillet and cook until they are no longer translucent. Add the eggs and cook until they are scrambled and fully cooked.
5.Remove the skillet from heat and set aside.
6.Divide dough into eight equal portions. Roll each portion into a ball and then flatten into a disc.
7.Place a spoonful of the prawn and egg filling in the center of each disc. Fold the dough around the filling until in the shape of a ball.
8.Place each ball on a floured surface and roll out to a thin, flat circle.
9.Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook each flattened dough circle for 3-5 minutes until golden brown on both sides.
10.Serve and enjoy!
