Ingredients

1 cup panir , cubed ( cottage cheese )
1 teaspoon fennel seed
1/4 teaspoon mustard seeds
5 -6 fenugreek seeds
1 teaspoon onion seeds
1/2 teaspoon cumin seed
1/2 teaspoon asafoetida powder
1 cup onion , sliced
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon black salt
3/4 cup yogurt
1 teaspoon all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
1 tablespoon oil

Achari Paneer is a popular North Indian dish that originated in the state of Punjab. The word 'achari' means pickle, and this dish is made by adding a special blend of Indian spice mix, also known as achari masala, to the gravy made with yogurt. The gravy has a tangy and sour taste, combined with the heat of the spices, making it a flavorful and aromatic dish. Instructions

1.Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add fennel seeds, mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, onion seeds, and cumin seeds. Stir until fragrant.
2.Add sliced onions and cook until translucent.
3.Add turmeric powder, chili powder, asafoetida powder, and black salt. Mix well.
4.Add cubed paneer and sauté for a minute or two.
5.In a bowl, whisk together yogurt and all-purpose flour until smooth. Add the yogurt mixture to the pan and let it cook on low heat for 5-6 minutes.
6.Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot with rice or hot rotis.
