150 g potatoes ( diced )
21 medium onions , finely chopped
3 garlic cloves , crushed
1/2 inch piece gingerroot
2 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
salt
1 teaspoon ground cumin
2 tomatoes , chopped coarsely
3 tablespoons fresh coriander
1/2 teaspoon garam masala ( to garnish )
1 green chili pepper , chopped

Instructions

5.Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
6.Add diced potatoes and chopped tomatoes.
7.Give everything a good mix, cover the pan, and cook for 15-20 minutes until the potatoes are tender and the chicken is cooked through.
8.Garnish the dish with fresh coriander, garam masala, and chopped green chili pepper.
