Ingredients

200 g black rice ( forbidden rice )
200 g pearl barley
200 g hulled barley
150 g brown rice
100 g glutinous rice
50 g italian millet
40 g african millet
30 g hulled azuki beans
30 g hulled dried black beans
Gugokbap is a traditional Korean rice dish made with a mixture of grains and beans. Instructions

1.Rinse all the grains and beans in cold water.
2.Soak the beans and glutinous rice separately for at least 3 hours.
3.Drain the water from the beans and glutinous rice and set aside.
4.In a large pot, add all the grains and beans and 8 cups of cold water.
5.Bring the water to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cover the pot.
6.Cook on low heat for 1 hour or until all the water has evaporated.
7.Remove from heat and let it sit for 10 minutes.
8.Fluff the rice with a fork and serve hot.
