Ingredients

1 medium onion , finely chopped
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 shoulder lamb chops
salt
pepper
1 1/2 teaspoons gingerroot , freshly shaved
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin ( I used 1 teaspoon because I love cumin ! )
2 garlic cloves , minced
1 cinnamon stick
1 tablespoon cilantro , chopped
1 cup prune , pitted
2 tablespoons honey
1 1/2 tablespoons lime juice
2 tablespoons sesame seeds , toasted
Crock Pot Moroccan Lamb Chops and Prunes is an exotic meal that combines perfectly cooked and seasoned lamb chops with a sweet and tangy prune sauce. Instructions

1.Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil. Cook the lamb chops in the skillet until they are browned on both sides.
2.In a slow cooker, add the chopped onions, garlic, gingerroot, cumin, cinnamon stick, cilantro, prunes, honey, lime juice, sesame seeds, salt, pepper, and the seared lamb chops.
3.Cover with a lid and cook on high for 3-4 hours or on low for 6-8 hours. The meat should be tender and falling off the bone.
4.Remove the cinnamon stick and serve the lamb chops with the prune sauce on top.
