2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
1 egg
1 tablespoon heavy cream
1 package puff pastry ( thawed in the refrigerator )

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 400°F.
2.In a bowl, mix together the cumin, ginger, turmeric, cinnamon, salt, and pepper.
3.In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté until it softens.
4.Add ground lamb, breaking it up using a wooden spoon, and cook for 5 minutes.
5.Add the spice mix, white wine, tomato paste, raisins, and pine nuts, cook until liquid is absorbed.
6.Remove from heat, stir in cilantro and let the mixture cool.
7.Roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut into 4 equal squares.
8.Place a spoonful of lamb filling on each square, then fold over and seal edges with a fork.
9.Mix egg and cream together and brush it over each turnover.
10.Place the turnovers on a baking sheet lined with a parchment paper and bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
