1 whole star anise
1 cinnamon stick
3/4 teaspoon black peppercorns
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
1/4 teaspoon whole cloves
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

1.Place the honey, cilantro, lemon juice, rice vinegar, ketchup, soy sauce, garlic, star anise, cinnamon stick, black peppercorns, ground ginger, ground cardamom, whole cloves, red pepper flakes, and salt in a medium saucepan.

3.Remove the star anise and cinnamon stick and blend the sauce in a blender or food processor until smooth.
