Ingredients

2 pounds beef oxtail , cut into pieces
4 quarts water , divided
4 ounces daikon radish , peeled and cut into 2-inch cubes
6 green onions , green and white parts chopped and separated
3 tablespoons milk
10 cloves garlic
4 teaspoons sea salt
4 teaspoons ground black pepper

Instructions

1.Place the oxtail in a large pot and add 2 quarts of water. Bring to a boil and let cook for 5 minutes.
2.Drain the water and rinse the oxtail.
3.In the same pot, add the oxtail, 2 quarts of water, daikon radish, white part of the green onions, milk, and garlic. Bring to a boil.
4.Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 4-5 hours.
5.Remove the oxtail and separate the meat from the bones. Discard the bones and return the meat to the pot.
6.Add sea salt and black pepper to taste. Serve hot with the green onions as a garnish.
