Instructions

1.In a large pot, heat oil and butter over medium heat.
2.Add the finely chopped onions and cook until they become translucent.

5.Cook the sauce mixture for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
6.Add the fish filets to the pot, making sure they are covered by the sauce. If necessary, add a little water to completely cover the fish.
7.Cover the pot and cook on low for about 20-25 minutes or until the fish is cooked through.
8.In a small pan, toast the pine nuts over low heat until they become brown and fragrant.
9.Serve the fish stew topped with the toasted pine nuts and freshly cracked pepper.
