3/4 cup water , divided

2 cans chickpeas ( garbanzo beans ) , drained and rinsed
1 can diced tomatoes in juice
1 large bay leaf
1 can coconut milk
salt to taste

10.Season with salt to taste and serve hot with rice or naan bread.
