Ingredients

6 almonds
6 jalapeno peppers , seeded and chopped
8 cloves garlic
1 inch piece fresh ginger root , peeled
1 cup chopped fresh cilantro
salt to taste
1 lemon , juiced
1/2 cup heavy cream
2 pounds skinless , boneless chicken breast halves - cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces
2 tablespoons butter
Reshmi Kebabs are an appetizer consisting of succulent pieces of chicken marinated in a smooth blend of aromatic spices and herbs. Instructions

1.Soak almonds in water for 1 hour and then peel the skin off.
2.Blend together almonds, jalapenos, garlic, ginger, cilantro and salt in a blender to make a smooth paste.
3.Add lemon juice and cream to the paste and blend well again.
4.In a large glass bowl, marinate chicken pieces with the paste for at least 2 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.
5.Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
6.Skewer the chicken pieces onto skewers and put them on a baking tray lined with aluminum foil.
7.Brush the pieces with butter and bake in the oven for 8-10 minutes until browned and cooked through.
8.Serve hot with mint chutney and onion rings.
