1 package spring roll wrappers
1 1/2 quarts oil for frying

Instructions

1.In a large mixing bowl, combine the pork, beef, onion, grated carrot, soy sauce, black pepper, garlic powder, and salt.
2.Mix everything together well until all ingredients are evenly distributed throughout the meat.
3.Take one spring roll wrapper and place it on a flat surface.
4.Spoon approximately 2 tablespoons of the meat mixture onto the bottom of the wrapper, making sure to leave a 1-inch border on either side.
5.Roll the wrapper once, tucking in each end as you go, and then fold in the two sides before rolling up completely.
6.Repeat steps 3-5 until all the meat has been used up.
7.In a wok or deep-fryer, heat the oil until it reaches 375°F.
8.Fry the lumpia for 4-5 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
9.Remove from the oil and place on a paper towel to drain any excess oil.
10.Serve hot with sweet and sour sauce or dipping sauce of your choice.
