3 1/2 teaspoons bread machine yeast
1/2 cup unseasoned bread crumbs , or as needed

Instructions

1.Heat milk and butter in a saucepan until butter melts and the mixture is lukewarm.
2.Whisk eggs, salt, bread flour, purple yam powder, and bread machine yeast together in a bowl.
3.Gradually stir the milk-butter mixture into the flour mixture until dough is formed.
4.Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth and elastic.
5.Place dough in an oiled bowl, turning to coat with oil.
6.Cover the bowl with a towel and let dough rise in a warm place until doubled in size.
7.Punch down the dough and shape into rolls.
8.Place shaped rolls on a baking sheet dusted with bread crumbs.
9.Cover and let rise until doubled in size again.
10.Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
11.Bake rolls in the preheated oven until golden brown.
