Ingredients

1 cup uncooked white rice
2 cups water
cooking spray
3 eggs , beaten
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 onion , chopped
1 leek , chopped
1 clove garlic , minced
2 green chile peppers , chopped
1/2 pound skinless , boneless chicken breasts , cut into thin strips
1/2 pound peeled and deveined prawns
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1 teaspoon ground cumin
3 tablespoons sweet soy sauce ( Indonesian kecap manis )
Indonesian Fried Rice, also called Nasi Goreng, is a staple dish in Indonesian cuisine. Instructions

1.Rinse the rice and cook according to package instructions. Once done, set aside to cool.
2.Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Spray cooking spray and add beaten eggs. Scramble the eggs until cooked through. Remove them from the pan and set aside.
3.In the same pan, add vegetable oil and heat it. Add chopped onion, leek, minced garlic, and green chile peppers. Cook until the vegetables are soft.

5.Add cooked rice to the pan and stir it with the vegetables and meat. Add ground coriander, ground cumin, and sweet soy sauce to the pan. Stir everything together until well combined.
6.Add scrambled eggs to the pan and continue to stir everything together until the eggs are heated through.
7.Serve hot.
