1 cup frozen green peas
4 cups peeled and chopped sweet potatoes
1 large egg , lightly beaten

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 350°F. Coat a 9-inch square baking dish with cooking spray.
2.Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add lamb, 1/2 teaspoon cumin, and 1/4 teaspoon salt; cook for 5 minutes or until lamb is browned. Remove lamb from pan with a slotted spoon.
3.Add onion and garlic to the same skillet; cook for 3 minutes or until tender.
4.Stir in tomato paste; cook for 1 minute, stirring occasionally.
5.Stir in remaining cumin and salt, chicken broth, water, olives, raisins, honey, cayenne pepper, turmeric, and 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon. Bring to a boil.
6.Reduce heat; simmer for 5 minutes. Stir in lamb and green peas; cook for 2 minutes or until peas are hot.
7.Meanwhile, place sweet potatoes in a saucepan; cover with water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes or until tender; drain. Return sweet potatoes to pan. Add remaining 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, egg, and salt; mash until smooth.
8.Spoon lamb mixture into prepared baking dish. Spread mashed sweet potatoes over lamb mixture.
9.Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes or until browned.
