Ingredients

1 cup warm water
1/2 teaspoon active dry yeast
1/2 teaspoon white sugar
1 cup milk
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup semolina flour
2 eggs
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
Sauce :
6 tablespoons butter
3/4 cup honey
1 teaspoon orange-flower water , or to taste ( optional )
Beghrir is a popular dish in Morocco, most commonly served for breakfast or as a snack. These pancakes have a spongy texture and are made using semolina flour, making them unique to traditional pancakes. The sauce made with butter, honey, and orange-flower water complements the pancakes perfectly. Instructions

1.In a large bowl, mix the warm water, yeast, and sugar.
2.Add in the milk and mix well.
3.Add the all-purpose flour, semolina flour, eggs, baking powder, and salt to the mixture. Mix well until smooth.
4.Cover the mixture and let it rest for 30 minutes.
5.Heat a non-stick pan over low-medium heat.
6.Pour a ladle of batter onto the pan to form pancakes and cook until bubbles form on the surface.
7.Serve warm with the sauce and enjoy!
