Ingredients

2 eggs , beaten
1 cup milk
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 lb ground beef
3/4 teaspoon salt
pepper
1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon onion , minced
1/2 tablespoon cornstarch
4 tablespoons ketchup or 4 tablespoons chili sauce
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
Hamburger and Yorkshire pudding is a popular English meal enjoyed by many around the world. The beef patty is that all-time favorite and pairing it with the Yorkshire pudding is always a good idea. The puffy, slightly crispy exterior of the pudding complements the juicy texture and flavour of the hamburger patty. Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
2.In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, flour, and salt until just combined. Let rest for 30 minutes.
3.In a separate bowl, mix ground beef, salt, pepper, Dijon mustard, and onion until combined. Divide mixture into 4 portions and shape each into a patty.
4.Heat a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Cook patties for 3-4 minutes per side, until browned. Remove from skillet and let rest.
5.In the same skillet, whisk together cornstarch, ketchup or chili sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and 1/2 cup water until smooth. Bring to a boil and simmer for 2 minutes.
6.Pour the batter evenly into the hot skillet. Arrange the patties on top of the batter and bake in the preheated oven until the pudding is puffed and golden brown, about 20-25 minutes.
