1 ( .25 ounce ) package instant yeast
1 cup warm water
2/3 cup canola oil
2/3 cup honey
3 eggs
2 teaspoons salt
6 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 egg white
1 tablespoon water

Instructions

1.In a large mixing bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm water.
2.Add oil, honey, eggs, salt and four cups of flour and beat until smooth.

4.Knead in the remaining flour until the dough is smooth and no longer sticky, for at least 10 minutes.
5.Place the dough in an oiled bowl. Turn the dough in the bowl to coat it with oil.
6.Let it rise in a warm place until double in size.
7.Punch the dough down then cover with a clean cloth to rest for 10 minutes.
8.Divide the dough into equal parts and braid three strands together to make each loaf.
9.Place the loaves on a baking sheet and let rise until double.
10.Brush each loaf with mixture of beaten egg white and water.
11.Bake in a preheated oven until the loaves are golden brown for about 30 minutes.
