1 head lettuce
2 green onions , finely chopped
1 mandarin oranges , peeled or can mandarin oranges , drained
1 ripe avocado , peeled and sliced

Instructions

1.In a small bowl, whisk together oil, red wine vinegar, lemon juice, sugar, salt, dry mustard, and garlic until well combined.
2.Melt butter in a pan, add sunflower seeds and almonds, and stir constantly over medium heat until lightly browned.
3.Wash and dry lettuce, and tear into bite-sized pieces. Place in a large mixing bowl.
4.Add chopped green onions, mandarin oranges, sliced avocado, and toasted seeds and almonds to the lettuce. Toss to combine.
5.Drizzle dressing over the salad and toss to coat evenly before serving.
