Ingredients

1 package dried porcini mushrooms
18 medium white button mushrooms ( or cremini )
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
0.5 package frozen butter puff pastry , thawed
1 can snails , strained and washed ( can size 36-50 snails )
1/2 cup butter , softened
2 garlic cloves , finely chopped
2 tablespoons minced shallots
2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
2 tablespoons fresh chives , finely chopped
1 1/2 tablespoons dry white wine
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
fresh ground black pepper
Escargot and Mushroom Hors D'oeuvres is a classic French dish that has become popular around the world. This recipe combines the earthy flavor of mushrooms with the delicate taste of escargot, all wrapped up in a buttery puff pastry. Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 400°F.
2.Soak the dried porcini mushrooms in boiling water, then drain and chop into small pieces.
3.Clean the white button mushrooms and remove the stems, then chop the stems into small pieces.
4.In a pan, sauté the chopped porcini mushrooms and mushroom stems over medium heat with 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt for around 5 minutes, then set aside.
5.Roll out the puff pastry dough on a floured surface and cut into circles using a cookie cutter.
6.In a separate pan, sauté the snails in butter, garlic, shallots, parsley, chives, white wine, sea salt, and black pepper for around 5 minutes.
7.Add the sautéed porcini mushrooms and mushroom stems to the pan and mix well.
8.Pour a spoonful of the mixture onto each puff pastry circle and bake in the oven for around 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
