Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).

5.Pour the filling over the cooled crust and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the center is almost set. Let cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes.
6.In a saucepan, combine 3/4 cup corn syrup, 1 1/2 cups brown sugar, and 1/4 cup butter. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Stir in 1 1/2 cups pecan halves.
7.Gently pour the topping over the cheesecake, spreading evenly. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until bubbly. Let cool to room temperature, then chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
