Ingredients

1 can peaches in light syrup
1 can pears in light syrup
1 can pitted dark sweet cherries in heavy syrup
1/2 cup dried pitted prunes
1/2 cup raisins
2 mandarin orange peels
2 cinnamon sticks

Instructions

1.Drain the peaches, pears and cherries, reserving the liquid.

5.Add enough water so that the fruit is well covered.
6.Break up the cinnamon sticks and add them to the pan as well.
7.Bring the mixture to a boil then reduce the heat and simmer for approximately 30 minutes, or until thickened.
8.Stir occasionally so that the mixture doesn’t stick to the pan.
9.Once it’s done, pour the mixture into jars and let them cool.
10.Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
