4 lbs pitted cherries
2 1/2 cups sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch

Instructions

1.Preheat your oven to 425°F.

9.Add your top crust to cover the cherries and cut slits into the dough to allow steam to escape.
10.Bake the pie in the preheated oven for 35-45 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is hot and bubbly.
