Ingredients

4 lbs spareribs
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 crushed garlic cloves
1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup chili sauce
2 tablespoons vinegar
1 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons steak sauce , i used HP steak sauce
1 cup honey

Instructions

1.Cut the spareribs into serving-size pieces and sprinkle with 1 teaspoon salt.
2.Place in a large pot and cover with water.
3.Add the onion and garlic cloves.
4.Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer until the meat is tender, about 1 hour.
5.In a saucepan, combine ketchup, chili sauce, vinegar, salt, prepared mustard, pepper, and steak sauce and stir well.
6.Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 10 minutes.
7.Preheat the grill to medium heat.
8.Drain the spareribs, place on the grill, and baste with honey.
9.Grill for 10 to 15 minutes per side, basting frequently, until the spareribs are nicely browned.
