Ingredients

3 - 3 1/2 cups flour
1 cup butter
1 teaspoon salt
1 carton cottage cheese or ( 8 ounce ) carton cream cheese
1/4 cup milk , to soften
1 lb dried pitted prunes
3 cups water
1/2 cup sugar ( more or less to taste if you want a sugar-free version - use 1/4 cup of fructose )

Instructions

1.Preheat your oven to 375°F. Grease and flour the tart pans.

3.Roll out the first half and press onto the bottom of the tart pan.
4.Combine the prunes and water and cook until plump. Drain and puree the prunes, then add the sugar.
5.Pour the puree into the lined tart pan, then roll out the second half of the dough and cut into thin strips and add to the top of the tart.
6.Bake for 30-40 minutes or until pie crust is golden brown.
