Instructions

1.In a large bowl, mix together the flour and salt.
2.In a separate bowl, dissolve yeast in lukewarm milk or water. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
3.Melt butter and let it cool.
4.Once yeast is activated, add eggs, sugar, brandy, water, melted butter, lemon zest, and orange zest. Mix well.
5.Slowly add the flour mixture to the yeast mixture, kneading gently for 10-15 minutes.
6.Cover and let the dough rest in a warm place for 1-1.5 hours or until the dough has doubled in size.
7.Preheat oven to 350 F (180 C).
8.Flatten the dough and form a ring. Place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
9.Let the dough rest for another 30 minutes.
10.Brush the top with beaten egg white and decorate with candied fruit pieces.
11.Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
12.Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool before serving.
