Ingredients

20 slices bacon
3 pounds chipped chopped ham , shredded
2 onions , chopped
1/2 cup chopped sweet pickle slices ( bread-and-butter type )
32 slices Cheddar cheese
32 hamburger buns , split
This sandwich is named after Uncle Bo, but nobody knows who he is. It's the perfect hot sandwich to serve during family gatherings or large groups of friends. The combination of ham, cheese, bacon and sweet pickles make for a delicious treat that fills you up for hours. The recipe is very easy and can be adapted to fit your taste preference by adding or removing ingredients. It's definitely a crowd-pleaser that will have everyone coming back for more.

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C)
2.Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crisp. Drain onto a paper towel-lined plate.
3.Add onions into the skillet and cook until soft and translucent. Add chipped ham and sweet pickle slices into the skillet and stir until heated through.
4.Arrange the bottom halves of the burger buns on baking sheets. Top each with a slice of cheese, 2 slices of bacon and a generous amount of the ham and onion mixture. Cover with the top halves of the buns.
5.Bake in the preheated oven until cheese is melted and sandwiches are heated through for around 15-20 minutes.
