Marination's Korean Philly Cheese Steak is a fusion sandwich that combines the traditional flavors of a Philly cheese steak with Korean-style marinade and kimchi. The thinly sliced top round beef is marinated in a Kalbi-style sauce before being cooked with sauteed onions, jalapeno peppers, and kimchi. The mixture is then smothered with shredded American cheese and mayonnaise and served on a toasted sandwich roll. This sandwich is a filling and flavorful option that's perfect for those looking to try something different than the classic Philly cheese steak.

Instructions

.In a large bowl, marinate the thinly sliced top round beef in the Kalbi-style steak marinade for at least 1 hour or overnight.
.In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat. Add the onions and jalapeno peppers and cook until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
.Add the chopped kimchi and saute for another 1-2 minutes.
.Remove the onion mixture from the skillet and set aside.
.In the same skillet, heat the remaining tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and cook for about 1-2 minutes on each side or until browned.
.Once the beef is cooked, add the onion mixture back into the skillet and stir everything together.
.Top the mixture with shredded American cheese and cover the skillet with a lid. Allow the cheese to melt, about 1-2 minutes.
.Once the cheese has melted, remove the skillet from heat and stir in the mayonnaise.
.Divide the beef mixture evenly between the sandwich rolls and serve immediately.
