This Vegetarian Cheeseburger is a great alternative to a traditional beef burger. The recipe is based on mushrooms, which are a great substitute for meat. They have a meaty texture and when combined with the right spices, they taste just like a meat burger. The recipe is also very easy to modify. Use your favorite type of cheese or toppings. The addition of yoghurt sauce adds a tangy flavor that complements the burger nicely. It's a great way to enjoy a burger without the greasy, fatty feel!

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2.Combine mushrooms, egg, oatmeal, breadcrumbs, dried yeast, sweet paprika, cumin, baking cocoa, cinnamon, salt, and pepper in a food processor. Mix until well combined.
3.Form the mix into patties of the size you want. Start by setting up a hot frying pan with the sunflower oil, and fry the patties until golden brown on both sides.
4.Bake the patties for about 5-6 minutes. Add the cheese and bake for another minute until the cheese has melted.
5.Serve on a bun, topped with yoghurt sauce, lettuce, and sliced tomato.
