Ingredients

1 quart vinegar-pickled sauerkraut , drained and rinsed well

2 stalks celery , chopped
3 lbs smoked sausage , cut into 1/2 inch pieces
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons flour
3 tablespoons dark brown sugar
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
12 ounces hard alcoholic cider
salt & freshly ground black pepper , to taste

Instructions
