Ingredients

2 german krauterfladenbrot rounds flat bread or 2 other soft round herb flavored flat bread ( such as a pita bread )
3/4 cup creme fraiche or 3/4 cup sour cream
1 cup white onion , slivers ( preferably sweet onion )
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar , approximately
salt , to taste
pepper , to taste
1 pinch granulated sugar , to taste
1 cup shredded white cheese , to taste ( such as Swiss or Gouda , or a mixture )
4 tablespoons crumbled crisp cooked bacon , approximately
4 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley , approximately
1 1/2 1 1/2 cups cooked corn ( cold ) or 1 1/2 cups chopped ham , chunks approximately
Pfaffenglueck or Parson's Luck is a cold pizza recipe inspired by traditional German cuisine. The dish is made using soft, herb-flavored flatbread as the base instead of traditional pizza dough. The creme fraiche or sour cream base is then topped with shredded white cheese, slivered onions, cooked corn or ham, and bacon before being baked in the oven until the cheese is melted and bubbling. Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
2.Spread creme fraiche or sour cream evenly on the flatbreads.
3.Sprinkle shredded cheese on top of the creme fraiche or sour cream.
4.Add slivered onions evenly across the top of the cheese.
5.Sprinkle salt, pepper, and a pinch of granulated sugar on top of the onions.
6.Add the cooked corn or chopped ham chunks on top.
7.Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbling.
8.Sprinkle the cooked bacon and fresh parsley on top of the hot pizza.
9.Cut into slices and serve while still warm or leave to cool in the fridge for a cold pizza.
