2 cups self raising flour

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 180°C / 356°F.
2.Grease a 20cm / 8-inch round cake tin and line the bottom with baking paper.

5.Gradually beat in eggs one at a time.
6.Fold in mixed dried fruit.
7.Pour in Guinness or stout beer and mix until combined.

9.Bake for 1hour to 1 hour 15 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
10.Leave to cool before serving.
