Ingredients

1 boneless corned beef brisket
6 garlic cloves , pealed ( I crushed mine as well )
2 teaspoons whole black peppercorns
2 cups water
6 tablespoons butter
1 cup thinly sliced green onion , including white and green parts
1/2 cup prepared horseradish sauce
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 head green cabbage , cored , cut into 6 wedges
1 1/2 lbs small red potatoes , cut in half

2 tablespoons orange marmalade
2 teaspoons dijon-style mustard

Instructions

1.Preheat your oven to 350°F.
2.Season the corned beef brisket with the peppercorns, salt, and garlic. Place it in a roasting pan.
3.Add the water to the pan and cover tightly with foil. Bake for 3 hours.
4.In a skillet, melt the butter and sauté the green onions until they are tender. Add the horseradish, black pepper, and salt to the skillet. Stir until everything is well combined.
5.Remove the foil from the roasting pan and add the cabbage and potatoes around the brisket. Spoon the onion mixture over the brisket and cabbage, then bake for an additional 45 minutes.
6.In a small saucepan, warm the orange marmalade and Dijon-style mustard together over low heat. Drizzle the glaze over the brisket and serve hot.
