1/2 lb blanched almond ( dry thoroughly and brown in 1 tbsp butter , stirring constantly , then drain )

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

4.Sift together the flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, salt, and mace and add them to the liquid mixture, stirring until just combined.
