Instructions

1.In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, flour, milk and salt until smooth.
2.Melt 3 tablespoons of the butter in a 12-inch ovenproof skillet over medium heat.
3.Add applesauce, honey (or sugar), cinnamon, nutmeg, and cook until heated through.
4.Pour the batter over the applesauce mixture and dot with remaining butter.
5.Bake at 475°F until puffed and golden, about 15 minutes.
