500 g flour
100 g soft brown sugar
200 g butter
1 egg
50 g yeast

Instructions

1.In a bowl, mix the yeast with a bit of lukewarm water until dissolved.

4.Gradually mix in the flour mixture until it forms a dough.

7.Let the syrup cool down.
8.Preheat a waffle iron.
9.Divide the dough into small balls. Flatten each one and place a teaspoon of the syrup in the center. Cover with another piece of dough and press together.
10.Place each cookie in the waffle iron and cook for approximately 2 minutes until golden brown on both sides.
11.Using a cookie cutter, trim the edges of the waffles to create a neat circle.
12.Let the waffles cool and enjoy!
