Instructions

1.Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2.In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter until soft, then gradually add the flour, sugar, baking powder.

4.In a separate bowl, mix the sliced apples with sugar and cinnamon.
5.Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan, pour half of the batter on the bottom and spread evenly.
6.Add a layer of apples on top of the batter.
7.Pour the remaining batter on top and spread evenly.
8.Add another layer of apples on top of the batter.
9.Bake for 65-80 minutes, until lightly golden brown.
10.Let cool, then sprinkle with icing sugar.
