4 -6 cups chopped cabbage
1 lb ground chuck
1 small onion ( chopped )
4 tablespoons uncooked rice
butter
fresh garlic or garlic salt
4 -6 bacon , strips
lawrys seasoning
2 -10 ounces . cans tomato soup plus 1-1/2 can water
This Easy Stuffed Cabbage Casserole recipe is a twist on traditional stuffed cabbage rolls. Instead of rolling individual cabbage leaves around a meat filling, this casserole layers chopped cabbage with a seasoned ground beef and rice mixture. Topped with tomato soup and bacon, this casserole is a hearty meal that's quick and easy to put together. It's a great way to use up leftover cabbage from other recipes, and it's sure to be a hit with your family.

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
2.In a large skillet, brown ground chuck and onion together until meat is fully cooked. Drain any excess grease.
3.Add uncooked rice, butter, garlic (fresh or garlic salt) and Lawry's seasoning to the skillet and stir until well blended.
4.Layer half of the chopped cabbage in the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
5.Spread the meat mixture on top of the cabbage.
6.Layer the remaining cabbage on top of the meat.
7.Pour two cans of tomato soup on top of the cabbage layers. Use one and a half cans of water to rinse out the tomato soup cans and pour the water over the top.
8.Place bacon strips on top of the casserole and season with Lawry's seasoning.
9.Bake uncovered for 1 hour or until cabbage is tender and bacon is crisp.
